Oakville Family Ribfest 2023 - 50/50

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in Ontario.

    Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    1 for $5.00; 0 tickets
    3 for $10.00; 0 tickets
    10 for $20.00; 0 tickets
    50 for $50.00; 0 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: July 30, 2023 at 5:00:00 p.m. EDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: July 30, 2023 at 6:00:00 p.m. EDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Sheridan College, Oakville Campus parking lot

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://oakvillefamilyribfest.rafflenexus.com/winners on July 30, 2023.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: dennis.plata@sympatico.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Other

    Please email our team at dennis.plata@sympatico.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Fundraising activities like Ribfest support our club’s many charitable activities, such as the Annual Strawberry Social (for elderly shut-ins and their caregivers), Kerr Street Ministries Food Bank, Oakville Fare Share Food Bank, Oakville high school student bursaries, Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, and international projects such as Sleeping Children around the World.

The Lions motto is “We serve,” and the Lions Club of Oakville has been serving the local community non-stop since 1935. The Club has significant historical ties to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, TOWARF, Lions Pool, Lions Valley Park, Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, and the Burloak Canoe Club.

Today the Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world with over 2 million members providing charitable works in their community and worldwide. The organizations four guiding principles are Charity, first and foremost, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
